I typically don’t like to draw, let alone paint comic book characters. I had been kicking around the idea of maybe doing Hellboy, but that was the extend of my interest. A friend asked if I could do Wolverine for him. I actually said no at first, but then decided maybe it would be fun… especially doing the painting in “my style”. Fast forward to today, and this turned out to be one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever created! After months of painting “Boba Fett” I finally got to start on Wolverine, and wouldn’t you know—my friend who initially asked me to paint him, had fell off the face of the Earth. No social media, no way to contact him. Well, no bother, I decided to create him anyways, and I’m glad I did.
