The inspiration for this artwork is not just the heroic anti-hero, Wolverine, but a trend I’ve noticed lately. It seems a lot of folks, at least online, seem to be enjoying watching the world burn. No one wants to see their world or the world around the people they hold dear, to turn to ashes, but it seems they enjoy watching it all go to hell for others. This is the face I see when I imagine the enjoyment of the chaos. Are all humans sadistic by nature, or is this something new?
